Show Wards honored by one-time study group members Members of a church study group which met regularly in past years to take up various ' LDS Church., publications, got together Tuesday 'evening to honor one of the couples in the group who will leave next week to fill an assignment J for the Church in the Tongan i Islands, Mr. and Mrs. M. How- j ard Ward. i They gathered at the moun- ! tain cabin of Mr. and Mrs. ' Karl O. Mitchell in Jinny-Beck ! flat to partake of a fine din- 1 ner and SDenH an pvpnincr nf visiting and reminiscing. The dinner featured sourdough biscuits, bis-cuits, baked ham, fried potatoes pota-toes and corn on the cob and all that goes with it. Present from the original group in addition to the hon-ored hon-ored couple, and the hosts, Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell, were Mr. and Mrs. Jess Guymon, Mr. and Mrs. W. Clair Rowley, Row-ley, Mr. and Mrs. Rulan Dalton, Dal-ton, Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Bentley, Mr. and Mrs. Clair Hulet and Claude Orton, with the Bentley's daughter, Mrs. Ila Mae Cumming attending with her parents. The Wards were presented with a book, autographed by each member of the group, during the evening. |
