Show ENOCH And MIDVALLEY NEWS Mrs. Veda Matheson I Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Matheson, Mathe-son, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Nelson Nel-son and Judy Maxwell were in Salt Lake City from Thursday Thurs-day until Saturday to attend the Utah State Farm Bureau convention. Dick is the Presi- group held a .swimming party last Thursday evening under the direction of their leader, John Pace. After swimming they held a supper at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Murie. Belatedly we report the induction in-duction of Keith Grimshaw, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Grimshaw, into the armed forces. Keith is taking his basic ba-sic training at Ft. Lewis, Washington. Several of the local young people participated in the recent re-cent activities at the Cedar City Ci-ty High School. Charles Garfield, Gar-field, Jay Wilcken and Connie Bryant were in the High School play. Gail and Dorothy Grimshaw, Vanna Hunter, Jay Wilcken and Frank Christensen were in the A Capella Choir that sang for the South Seminary dedication Sunday afternoon. Also quite a large group of students were in the Junior High Musical progarm that was presented Friday evening. Myron S. Jones went to Provo Tuesday for a check up after recent surgery He is living at home now and is in good health. He wishes to express his thanks and gratitude to all the people who have helped help-ed him through his illness. Wayne Grimshaw visited with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Grimshaw this week end. He brought a friend, Miss Beverley Bev-erley Rich, with him. He is employed at Hill Field, dent and LaMar Vice President Presi-dent of the Iron County Farm Bureau, and Judy Maxwell is the women's chairman. Mr. and Mrs. Nelson also attended meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday. Gail Maxwell and Carma and Gerry Maxwell went to Salt Lake City on Friday on business. They returned on Sunday. Mrs. Delia Garfield and Myra flew to Salt Lake City Friday for Delia to attend a State Nurses meeting. They remained for a few days to visit and were joined by Charles on Wednesday. They will spend Thanksgiving with relatives in the area and re-! re-! turn at the end of the week. Mr. and Mrs. Orin Speirs were in San Gabriel, Calif, over the weekend visiting with Orin's brother, Roy Speirs and his family, and other members of Orin's family who live in that area. Roland and Ellen Anderson visited part of the week end with Mrs. Cora Murie. Also visiting with Mrs. Murie was a grandson, David Anderson, and Dave's friend, Mr. Allen of Mesquite, Nev.
