' ''WWW!'- J , 1 W''.$ If V':,j MISS DRUSILLA DEWEY Salt Lake Miss Tells Of Engagement To John Simians At a pool-side announcement party Saturday evening, June 25, news of the engagement of Miss Drusiila Dewey, and John Sim-kins Sim-kins was disclosed. The couple are making plans for a marriage to take place in the spring of 1907 in the Skaggs Memorial Chapel in Salt Lake City. Miss Dewey is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter L. Dewey of 673 Meadow Lane, Salt Lake City and Mr. Simkins is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Kay Simkins of Parowan, but has resided in Salt Lake City for the past several years where he has been employed em-ployed and has been attending University of Utah. The announcement party was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Dewey at, the LaCastalana Apts. in the capital city. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Stevens Henegar College in 1?)f!' and is nresentlv emuloved as a secretary-bookkeeper for Higgins and Hall Advertising in I Salt Lake City. Mr. Simkins, who is well known for his role in the last two All-Church basketball tournaments, and has played on;: the past two year's champion-1 ; ship teams, will graduate from ; the U in 1967 as a recreational therapist with a minor in busi-' ness. He was voted as the most ( ! valuable player in the 1966 all-1 ; Church meet. ' |
