Show Friday Services Honor Memory of Irene Davis Bentley runerai services were conuuci-: conuuci-: ed on Friday, June 24 in the : Parowan Third Ward Chapel for I Mrs. Irene Davis Bentley, who passed away the week before at a Cedar City nursing home. The services were conducted by Bishop Verl Taylor with prelude and postlude music rendered by Mrs. Itha Mortensen. Speakers were Marvin Graff and James Williams, the latter of Greenville, Green-ville, L'tah, with closing remarks by Bishop Taylor. The prayer at the home was offered by Karl O. Mitchell. The opening prayer was offered by Charles F. Bentley, the closing one by James L. Benson and the grave in the city cemetery was dedicated by Vernon Davis. The musical program included a vocal solo, "That Wonderful Mother of Mine", by Howard D. Knight, accompanied by his daughter, Ruth Ann Knight; a vocal solo, "I'll Walk with God", by Mrs. Jackie Robinson, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Itha Mortensen, and a song, "There's a Beautiful Land," by a mixed quartet consisting con-sisting of Mr. and Mrs. Karl O. Mitchell and Mr. and Mrs. Rulan Dalton with Mrs. Mortensen accompanying ac-companying them. Flowers were under the direction direc-tion of Mrs. James Benson and pallbearers were Clyde and Billy Draper, Bill and Billy Harvey, Garth Davis and Robert Smith. |
