Show Robert B. Mitchells Announce Marriage of Daughter A wedding ceremony which took place late in July united Miss Pamela Mitchell, former Parowan resident and Joseph Marden Jackson of Seattle, Wash- in marriage. The double-ring double-ring ceremony took place at the LDS Institute of Religion in Seattle Seat-tle with Bishop Thomas B. Smart officiating in the rites which took place Saturdal, July 23. The marriage was later solemnized solem-nized in the LDS Temple at Ida-Falls, Ida-Falls, Idaho with Willard S. Wray, officiating. This took place on July 26. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert B. Mitchell of Moscow, Idaho. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest H. Jackson of Seattle Following the wedding the newlyweds were honored at a reception at the Institute. Attendants At-tendants at this affair were Sandra San-dra Sorenson, maid of honor with Sue Thompson and Margaret Weeks bridesmaids and Shelly and Kathy Ray as flowers girls. Standing as best man for the bridegroom was his brother Sher-land Sher-land Jackson with Robert B. Mitchell, head usher, assisted by Robert Hill and Lowell Taylor. In charge of gifts was Vanda-la Vanda-la Norris, at the guest book Suzee Edwards, and gift bearer was Warner Mitchell, brother of the bride. Presiding at the serving table were the bride's grandmother grandmo-ther Mrs. Georgia B. Mitchell and her aunt, Mrs. Vanda B. Rom-ney. Rom-ney. The couple are now at home at 416 Maple Leaf Place, NE, Seattle, Wash. The bride is a graduate of the Hollywood School of Beauty at Provo. The bridegroom has attended at-tended the University of Washington Wash-ington for the past year but will return to BYU to finish his studies stud-ies this fall. At the wedding rites and reception recep-tion were Mrs. Georgia B. Mitchell, Mitch-ell, Parowan, Mrs. Vanda B. Romney and son Phillip, Eugene Ore and Mr. and Mrs. Gary W. (Sharon Adams) Cupp of Salem, Ore. |
