Show Career Day Program Planned at Cedar High School Cedar City High School students stu-dents will have the opportunity to hear representatives of universities univer-sities and vocational schools at their annual Career Day. Career Day Is to be held Wednesday, April 5. according to Spencer Jones, chairman. The High School Key Club, of nvhich Mr. Jones Is a member. Is In charge of the career day activities as a service project of the organization. In addition to representatives of the colleges throughout the state, students will consult with people In a variety of occupations. occupa-tions. The day's activities will begin at 9 a. m. in an assembly at which Dr. Royden C. Braithwaite, director. College of Southern Utah, will bo the keynote speaker. speak-er. Following the assembly, representatives repre-sentatives of the universities and vocational schools will meet with i students to discuss features of their institutions. During the afternoon classes devoted entirely to occupations Will be held. Authorities in various var-ious fields have been invited to lead discussions in the classes. The program will be conducted so that students may investigate several vocations during the afternoon. |
