Show Parowan Educator Granted Leave oi Absence I Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Orton have received word from their son Bryce B. Orton of Kexburg, Idaho, Ida-ho, where he is head of the business bus-iness department of Ricks College, Col-lege, that he has been granted a leave of absence from that school to study and obtain his doctor's degree. In addition to his sabbatical sab-batical leave, he has been awarded award-ed a predoctorate associate which will pay for all of his school expenses for a year. I Orton will go to the Universl-1 ty of Washington at Seattle and will spend two years in getting his doctor's degree. He and his wife and family will move to Seattle as soon as his finishes the school year at Ricks. He has been teaching at Ricks for six years. He received his bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University at Provo and his master's degree from the Uni-i Uni-i versity of Oregon at Eugene. Ore. |
