Show CSUStaff Member ' Anticipates Second Iranian Tour A second two-year sojourn in ti.e Middle East is being anticipated antici-pated with pleasant memories by a Cedar City scientist and members mem-bers of his family, who left Utah early Wednesday on a technical assignment for Utah State University. Uni-versity. A. Glenn Wahlquist, who work-ed work-ed from July 1952 to June 1954 as an advisor -in agronomy-In Iran is returning to that country to become advisor In agronomy, soils and botany at Karadj Agricultural Agri-cultural College outside Teheran. Mr. Wahlquist is chairman of the biology division at College of Southern Utah where he has been a staff member for the past 11 years. He and his family will be traveling trav-eling to Iran to serve under a USU contract with the International Interna-tional Corporation Administration Administra-tion and Karadj College. Accompanying Accom-panying him will be Mrs. Wahlquist Wahl-quist and their daughters Annette, An-nette, 14 and Kay, 11. |
