Show City Council Moves 0n-Street Renovation Project Work has already been accomplished ac-complished in the removal of trees on center street between 200 and 300 East street, as authorized auth-orized at the city council meeting meet-ing Thursday evening. Bid submitted by Chester Parry Par-ry of Cedar City to remove the trees to make way for a new curb and irrigation canal was accepted at the meeting by the council. In addition Warren H. Bulloch, Bul-loch, president of the Iron County Coun-ty Water Users Association, was reappointed to that bedy as representative rep-resentative of the city. Some time was spent by the council in reviewing plans submitted sub-mitted by Dale Despain of Provo for use of the area on North Main Street in connection with the Southern Utah Livestock Show Association. The City had accepted the responsibility re-sponsibility of having the area planned by a professional planner, plan-ner, but the promotion and development devel-opment of the area will be under the sponsorship and Jurisdiction! of the Southern Utah Livestock ChflW AflCAptntinn If U na wtlntcul out by Mayor Anderson. City also took under advisement advise-ment a request from the State Board of Forestry and Fire Control Con-trol who submitted an application applica-tion for use of a portion of the old library building to house facilities fa-cilities of the department in this area.
