Show Wildlife Federation Plans Rabbit Hunt At the regular Escalante Valley Val-ley Wildlife Federation directors meeting held Tuesday evening a letter from the Las Vegas Sportsmen's Sports-men's Club was presented, asking ask-ing that the federation schedule a rabbit hunt here In the valley for the Nevada Club in the near future. The 26th of April has been tentatively sen as the date for the hunt. It Is felt that this time of year the hunting should be particularly good . since the rabbits have been relatively undisturbed un-disturbed all winter. Farmers in the area are urged to Join the Nevada Hunters In order to Insure In-sure a maximum kill. The Wildlife Wild-life Federation plans to serve coffee and doughnuts to all hunters. Several other items of business busi-ness were discussed at the Tuesday Tues-day meeting. The directors authorized au-thorized the purchase of a new seining net for use in transferring transfer-ring fish from one pond in the valley to another. They also made plans for a membership drive to be held in the near future. fu-ture. It Is hoped that it will be possible to get Lee Kay of the State Fish and Game Department Depart-ment to come down and show his films in connection with the drive.
