Show Y-Z Trail Associations Meeting Scheduled For Lee Vining, Calif. A delegation from the Cedar City Chamber of Commerce and the Iron County Commission will leave this week end to attend the August meeting of the Y-Z Trail Association to be held at Lee Vining, Calif. Meetings will be held Saturday, Satur-day, Aug. 8 with the meeting slated for 5 p. m. and the banquet ban-quet to get under way at 8 p. m. Both the meeting and banquet will be held at Mona Lake, just outside Lee Vining. ' It was pointed out by members of the Y-Z Trail Association the Importance of the development of the route from Yosemife National Na-tional Park in central California to Zlon National Paik and now the Glen Canyon Dam in southern south-ern Utah and northern Arizona. All dlled Rout With the new all-oiled route between these major attractions of the West, this route cuts off over 100 miles from the Bay area of San Francisco. In addition the attraction to the great southwest will be of importance and will make a more feasible route to the San Francisco area from points in this section of the United Unit-ed States.
