Show County Bond Sales at 44 of Year's Quota I Total sales of series E and H savings bonds in Iron County for the month of June was reported at $2,704, by county chairman Francis W. Betenson. today. .The June sales brought the county's total sales for the year 1956 to $43,882 or 44 of the 1956 quota. Betenson also pointed out that In District 4 which Includes five counties in southern Utah. Beaver, Bea-ver, Iron, Juab, Washington and Millard Iron was in third place in respect to per cent of quota, already raised. Washington County heads the list 63.2 already al-ready raised with a total of $35,-243. $35,-243. Beaver has collected $37,37: for 593 followed by Iron, Juab and Millard In that order. On the state level June was reported as the lowest in total sales this year. Sales of the series ser-ies E and H bonds for June amounted to $1,128,144 according accord-ing to Clem S. Schramm, state savings bonds director. "We are hopeful that some of the wool men will invest part of their extra money they "will be receiving in July in savings bonds, as well as other farm groups who will start receiving money for their fruit and grain crops," the chairman said.
