Show Last Rites Conducted for lane A. Tones Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed In the Cedar First-Fifth Ward chapel Saturday afternoon for Mrs. Jane Armstrong Jones. S7. long time resident of Enoch-and well known throughout southern south-ern Utah, particlarly in church circles. Mrs. Jones died on July ,10, having been in poor health for some time. The services were conducted : by Bishop Stanford Jones of the Enoch Ward. Speakers included Stanley Smith, Bountiful, former bishop of the Enoch Ward, and George W. Grimshaw, Cedar City. ' A tribute was given by Mrs. i Belle Webster, Cedar City, and i brief remarks were given by Bish. op Jones. Invocation was by W. F. Armstrong, Brigham City; benediction ben-ediction by Roy Armstrong, Provo; Pro-vo; the dedicatory prayer by Hy-rum Hy-rum P. Jones, Spanish Fork, and the prayer at the mortuary prior pri-or to the services by Eldon Jones. Spokane, Wash. The opening and closing songs. "Jesus, Lover of My Soul.' and "Beyond The Sunset." respective, y, were by Elwin Armstron; and George D. Grimshaw, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Paul Dahl. Other musical numbers included a vocal vo-cal solo. "One Sweetly Solemn Thought." by Mrs., Carolyn Lund-gren, Lund-gren, Ogden, a granddaughter, accompanied by Mrs. Mary Jone Mortensen. of Salina, another granddaughter: a cello solo by Mrs. Hyrum P. Jones. Spanish Fork, accompanied by Mrs. Richard Rich-ard Jrne, Parowan. and a vocal solo. "Sometime We'll Understand," Under-stand," Mrs. Arville Jensen, La. Vegas, a granddaughter, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Dahl. Flower girls were granddaughters, granddaugh-ters, while grandsons acted rs pall bearers. |
