Show Grant Seaman Given Transfer To Beaver District Transfer of District Forest Ranger Ran-ger Grant Seaman from St. George to the Beaver district of the Fishlake National Forest has been announced by Dixie Forest Supervisor Howard Foulger. Grant, who for many years made his home in Cedar City, has served as ranger at St. George since August, J956. He will replace re-place his younger brother Don Dee Seaman, who has been trans-ferred trans-ferred to the Forest Supervisor's staff of the Boise National Forest. For-est. They are sons of Frank Seaman, Sea-man, who spent most of his Ihc as a forest ranger, starting with the old Powell and Sevier National Na-tional forests. Grant was born In Panguitch, but attended schools of Cedar City. Ci-ty. He Is a graduate of the College Col-lege of Southern Utah, and has spent his entire forest service career ca-reer on the Dixie National Forest. For-est. He was assigned as assistant district ranger on the Cedar City district and has been district ranger at St. George since 1956. Grant and his wife Mary, with their children, Annett, Catherine, Cather-ine, Mitchell, John, Sallie and Marilyn, will move to Beaver this week end. |
