Show I NEWS NOTES FROM SUMMIT Mrs. Dea Wilcken Norman Grimshaw returned home last Wednesday after having hav-ing surgery performed on his foot at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City. He is now convales-ing convales-ing at home. Mrs. Elaine Nelson made a trip to Salt Lake City last week to take the girls who had won the Iron County "Make it Yourself with Wool Contest", so they could compete in ths State Contest. They returned home Friday evening. eve-ning. Mr. and Mrs. Denton Jones of Murray, Utah, spent the week end visiting here with Denton's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Myron S. Jones. They also visited with a brother, Mr. Ivor Jones, end sisters, sis-ters, Mrs. Evan Matheson, Mrs. Elwin Armstrong, Mrs. Edgar Chamberlain and Mrs. Allen Heaton of Cedar City. Denton and his wife are to leave soon to serve a full time Mission for the Church in the Far East. Wayne Grimshaw, son of Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Grimshaw, sailed for home last Friday. He has Just been released from serving serv-ing a 2Hyear Mission In Germany. Germ-any. Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Murie had a short visit from Mrs. Murie's par- ents, Mr. and Mrs. Burton Rust of Ordervllle, and other mem-bers mem-bers of the family. I Mrs. Helen Jones has been caring car-ing for two of her grandchildren this past week. They are children child-ren of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Munson of Las Vegas. Mr. and Mrs. Munson Mun-son enjoyed a trip to HawalL |
