Show Safeway Stores Game Carried in Weekly Newspapers Launching of the largest retail promotion In the recent history of the Intermountain Area, primarily primar-ily thruogh the use of weekly ly newspaper advertising, was announced today by Lowell 'iSherratt, local manager for Safe-,j Safe-,j way Stores. The promotion of a bingo-type game known as "Cross-Out" will be carried on by use of increased newspaper advertising space, Mr. Sherratt stated. There will be 3.250 prizes valued at over $32,-000 $32,-000 given to residents of the Intermountain In-termountain Area through the game. "Because our advertising department de-partment has determined that newspapers generally arc a most .effective means of securing wide public interest, the numbers for playing the game will be carried car-ried primarily through our newspaper news-paper advertising. Regular listings list-ings of all winners will also be incorporated in our newspaper advertising, Mr. Sheiratt declared. |
