Show Adult Education Classes Offered Residents I Registration for adult classes of the Iron County School District will be hell Wednesday, Sept. 30, 1964, according to Naomi Piatt, chairman of the Adult Edcation Committee of the Coordinating Council. This will be a preliminary registration reg-istration for the purpose of determining deter-mining interest and scheduling classes. It will be held at the junior high faculty room from 6:30 until 9 p. m. No fees will be I collected registration night. I Mrs. Piatt reports that some I classes are suggested but others I may be scheduled if there are ten interested adults who register. regis-ter. Speed sewing, tailoring, basic color and design, furniture refln-ishing, refln-ishing, art for teachers of children, chil-dren, working creatively with your preschool child, typing, household carpentry and ceram-: ics are among those suggested. The fees are $5.00 per class. I Classes will be held one night per I week for a series of ten weeks. ' Adult classes for high school credit are being planned lor the first time In the district evening eve-ning program. Any adult who is Interested in getting some high school credit and working toward a high school diploma in night classes, is encouraged to contact Marian Hahi.e, director of Adult Education, and make his wishes known. Fees for high school credit will be $10 per year for those under 21 years of age. The charge will be $25 per unit for high school credit for those over 21 years of age. |
