Show Millard County Teams Edge Toward Top Division Spots DIVISION STANDINGS Delta 6 0 1.000 Millard 4 2 .667 Mllford 3 3 .500 Parowan 2 5 .286 Btaver 1 6 .143 With two more rounds of play left in the Millard Division basketball bas-ketball race and Delta still undefeated, un-defeated, a win this Friday over Milford in a game at Delta, will give the title to tnt KaoDits. Ana if this happens and Millard gets over the Parowan Rama in a game at Fillmore the same night, the Eagles will clinch second place in the race. This will give the Millard County outfits out-fits the first two places and will leave Milford in third and the third place team in the Region Eight playoffs. Delta's win over Parowan last Friday eliminated the Rami from the race unless they can win at Millard this Friday. If they could do this Mllford would still have at chance at the Millard entry in the final week on the Milford Mil-ford floor. This would place the Tigers and Eagles In a second place tie if the Tigers win at Delta. But there are too many lis in the way. From here It looks like Delta will win over Mllford and that the short-handed Rams will drop their final game to Millard at Fillmore this week. And next week end Delta will come to Beaver and will be favored to win the final game while Millard j and Mllford battle it out at Mil-! ford in a toss up battle. Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Page and family of Las Vegas visited In Parowan over the past week end with their parents, Mrs. Maggie Page and Mr. and Mrs. Al Do-brusky. |
