Show Students Present Delightful Program on Books All of the children and teachers teach-ers of the third, fourth, fifth and sixth grades, joined together on Wednesday, April 18, to present a most entertaining program dramatizing books, poem' , stories and choral readings. The dramatizations were in costume, cos-tume, well planned and well done. Every part on the program was lively, interesting and greatly great-ly enjoyed by the large audience. The program was as follows: "Dr. Seuss and His Books" -Mrs. Luke's Fifth Grade. "Choral Reading and a Special Poem" Mr. Buhanan's Sixth Grade. " "?r.e and Poem Depicting the United Nations," Mrs. Florine Adams's Third Grade. Each child made his own flag. "Beautiful and Well Illustrated Large Books." Describing the many different favorite books of these children Mr. Shakespeare's Shakes-peare's Fourth Grade. Opening Scene to "The Wonderful Won-derful World of Hans Christian Anderson" Mr. Dotson's Fifth Grade. An amusing act called "A New Type of Phonic" Mr. Stap-ley's Stap-ley's Sixth Grade. Original Class Poem "Today It's Spring" Mrs. Sherratt's Third Grade. Well done dramatization from "Kim of Korea" Ms. Max-ine Max-ine Adams's Third Grade. Clever book review of "The Chinese Children Next Door" Mrs. LcBaron's Fifth Grsde. Entertaining act illustrating "Books With Pictures" Mr. Meek's Fifth Gra l. Amusing and entertaining scene from 'Tom Sawyer" Mr. Hepworth's Fourth Grade. |
