Show Delegates Announced !For Girl Scout, Annual Council Meet Mrs, Grace Leigh, Mrs. Reta Esplin and Mrs. Mary Robertson, of the Navajo Neighborhood of the Girl Scouts of America, have been named as delegates to the Utah Girl Scout Council annual meeting to be held In Salt Lake City May 3. Mrs. Leigh is chairman of the Navajo Neighborhood, which comprises Girl Scout Troops in Cedar City. Representatives from 37 Girl Scout Neighborhoods throughout the state, council board members and committee members make up the delegate body to conduct the official business of the council. Presiding will be Mrs. John S. Erlckson, president of the Utah Girl Scout Council. Mrs. Erlckson Indicated that the annual an-nual meeting Is open to all registered reg-istered adults and friends of Girl Scouting In Utah. The delegates will elect 13 members of the Board of Directors Direct-ors and three members of the nominating comnY'tee for the Utah Council for two year terms. Dr. Rex A. Skldmore, dean of the school of social work, University Uni-versity of Utah, will be the guest speaker at the morning session. He will speak on "Girls In the Space Age." |
