Show Twins, Indians Win Minor League Flag The Minor League season of-ficially of-ficially ended August 7 with the Twins winning the championship in the 10, 11 and 12 year old league and the Indians winning the title In the 8 and 9 year old league. The Twins were engaged all season In a struggle with the Bees and Cardinals and not until un-til the final week did they clinch the title. In the final two weeks of play the Twins defeated the Bees, 18 to 6, the Cardinals 5 to 2 and the Yankees, 15 to 4. The players on the championship Twins team are as follows: Arnold Ar-nold Lemmon, Robert Esplin, Ricky, Pruitt. Steven Matheson, Steven Bratton, Russell Heap, Todd Bennett, Steven Anderson, Doug Long, Dennis Stewart, Glen Adams, Elmer Evans, Roger Esplin, Es-plin, Billy Randall, Evan Lewis and Carl Jones. In the 8 and 9 year old league, the Indians led the league all season and In the final game they showed their capabilities by defeating the second place Cubs 6 to 5 in a fine game. Members of the championship Indian team are as follows: Doug Adams, Lalne Spevak, David Barrus, Ricky Brown, Richard Gale, Tom Hlgbee, Lynn Davis, Laine Isom, Steve Jordan, Greg Mosdell, Kenneth Ken-neth Wade, Randy Robinson, I David Halght, David Holm, Mike , Hardley, Bill Baldwin, Kim Thompson and Curtis Berry. The final minor league event of the season will be held Saturday, Satur-day, Aug. 11, when a group of minor league all-stars will play a team from Henderson, Nevada.
