Show ENOCH AND MID VALLEY NEWS I Dy Mrs. De Wilcken Miss Mary Ann Grimshaw and Miss Trudi Jones attended a Seminary convention in St. George on Saturday, March 30. In the morning they were favored favor-ed with a program consisting of the top talent from the different differ-ent Seminaries. A luncheon was then served. In the afternoon Ernest Er-nest Emberhart, a guest speaker, talked to them and a testimony meeting was held. Welcomed back home Sunday was Miss Virginia Bryant who has Just returned from the LDS Mission field. Virginia is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Bryant. Mr. and Mrs. Bryant also have a son, Fernlee, serving in the New Zealand Mission. Visiting at the Dilworth Armstrong Arm-strong home is Mrs. Armstrong s grandmother, Mrs. Mary Stewart. Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Grimshaw Grim-shaw made a trip to Salt Lake City Thursday and Friday on business matters. Haken Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Haken Anderson of Cedar Ce-dar Ciy, was the speaker at Sacrament Sac-rament meeting on Sunday. He has Just returned from the Florida Flori-da Mission. Richard Grimshaw, son of Mr. and Mrs. George D. Grimshaw, underwent surgery on Saturday, March 30, at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, for removal of a brain tumor. His father reports that he came through the operation opera-tion as well as can be expected. Audrey Armstrong was met at the airport Thursday evening by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elwin F. Armstrong and her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. J. Dilworth Armstrong. Audrey has just returned from fulfilling a mission for the LDS Church in Australia. Audrey and her parents par-ents are former residents of Enoch, who now live in Cedar City. We are hopin; to see Audrey Au-drey and hear from her soon. |
