Show Funeral Services Held In Milford for Mrs. Jewell Applegate A large number of people from Parowan were called to Milford Tuesday to attend the funeral services for Mrs. Jewell C. Apple-gate, Apple-gate, 39, wife of Lyl? D. Apple-gate, Apple-gate, wno is a native c.f Parowan. Paro-wan. The services were held in the Milford Ward chapel. Mrs. Applegate died Friday morning after a long illness from heart trouble and complications. She was born at Lund, Utah, January 7. 1915. n daughter of Henry M. and Belle Moore Couch. She was married to Lyle D. Applegate at Parowan on June 2, 1935. The have resided in Lund and Milford most of the time since their mariage. Surviving are her husband and seven sons and daughters as follows: fol-lows: Elbert C, Dona Inez, Dor-ene, Dor-ene, Nona Belle, Gary Lyle, Bryce Lee, and Boyd V. Applegate. Also1 surviving are her mother and two brothers and three sisters. I Attending from here were Mr. and Mrs. Lucius Benson and daughters Yvonne Benson and Norma Robinson; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Robinson, Robert Robinson, Robin-son, Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Robinson Robin-son and daughter June; Mr. and Mrs. Kei'h Robinson, Miss Joyce Tullis and Mr. and Mrs. Jess Guymon, with Mr. Guymon being be-ing a speaker at the services. |
