Show Local Jaycees Win State Mileage Award Eight members of the Cedar City Junior Chamber of Commerce Com-merce and several of their partners part-ners returned from a stite board meeting in Salt Lake City last week end with two welcome signs that they had won for post-in post-in the most man miles to the affair. Held at the Newhouse Hotel in the capital city, the Junior Chamber confab got under way Saturday afternoon with the members participating in a mock legislature at the state capitol. Sunday morning business sessions ses-sions were held by the group and forums for the various activities of the Jaycees were held, including includ-ing Miss Utah and Clean-up campaigns that will get under way in the near future throughout through-out the state. D S A Awards Made Climax of the affair was the State Distinguished Service Award banquet held at the hotel. The three outstanding Jaycees of the state were honored at the affair and participants fiom all communities were guests ol honor. Alex Angelo, hotel managei and popular civic worker of Ce dar City, was entered in the state competition for the coveted award. He was recognized at th banquet for his stalwart effort! in this community. Mr. Angelc was the recipient of the local DSA plaque in Cedar City.
