Show Police Chief Lambert To Participate In Training Session Law enforcement officers from the state of Utah who are graduates grad-uates of the FBI National Academy, Aca-demy, Washington, D. C, will attend a retraining session Friday, Fri-day, Nov. 4 in Salt Lake City, announces Arthur Cornelius, Jr., special agent in charge of the Salt Lake City office of the FBI. Odes Record, chief of police, Salt Lake City, president of the Utah chapter of the FBI national association, will preside at the retraining session. Jay C. Newman, New-man, commissioner of public safety will be guest speaker at the session and will talk on the subject, "Traffic Safety Prob-Jems." Prob-Jems." In addition, law enforcement officers from throughout the state will conduct various courses of Instruction during the day long agenda. Chief of police, Tony Lambert of Cedar City will lead one of the classes dealing with the subject sub-ject of "Records." The retraining session will get under way at 9:30 a. m. in the Newhouse Hotel. There will also be shown an FBI fUm on "Collection, identification identi-fication and Preservation of Evidence." Evi-dence." The program will be concluded con-cluded with a firearms retraining retrain-ing course at the Fort Douglas firing range. |
