Show StakeMIflPlay Goes Into Final Rehearsals Final week of rehearsals for the popular play "You Can't Take It With You" have been held by the cast of the Cedar Stake M I A in preparation for the benefit performance Monday and Tuesday evenings, Nov. 22 and 23rd. Directoi of the comedy in three acts is Mrs. Dixie Leavltt, and she indicated that the production produc-tion has developed very well, assuring as-suring a polished performance next week. A special nmtinee will be held Saturday afternoon for children under 12 years of age. Curtain time for the Monday and Tuesday performances has been set at 8:15 p. m. and all performances will be held In the public school auditorium. I An outstanding cast has been hard at work for over a month in preparation for the comedy and several patrons have indicated indi-cated that the production should be one of the most outstanding locally produced plays to be staged stag-ed in' the area. The cast is as follows: Penelope, Mrs. Claude (Beth) Halsell; Essie, Mrs. Lester (Mary) Heyborne; Rheba, Mrs. Rodney (Bonnie) Turner; Paul Sycamore, Jordon L. Larsen; Mr. DePlnna, Rex Harris; Ed, Don Knight; Donald, Mauray Payne; Martin Vanderhof, Rodney Turner; Alice Luree Condie; Henderson, Walter Walt-er Lowe; Tony Kirby, Eugene Helland; Boris Kolenkhov, Claude Halsell; Mr. Kirby, Burns Sher-ratt; Sher-ratt; Mrs. Kirby, Mrs. John Warner; War-ner; three men, Tony Lambert, Milton Sevy and Delworth Stout, and Olga, Mrs. Richard Anderson. Ander-son. Than Naegle Is stage manager manag-er for the production and off stage music will be furnished by Alice Kane. Tickets have been placed on advance sale. Adult admission has been set at $1.00 and students stu-dents at 50 cents. However, tickets tick-ets may be purchased at the door. |
