Show College Dramatists Put Polish to Comedy Production As the current drama season is ushered in, student dramatists at the Collrye of Southern Utah are applying final touches to their first production, "The Male Animal." The sensational comedy sue- ' (ess is being readied for a premier pre-mier performance in the college auditorium on Dec. 1. repeat performances per-formances will also be given the succeeding two evenings, according accord-ing to Prof. Richard M. Rowley, the play 's director. Featured in the lead rides are the following players: Clark Hon-now, Hon-now, Panact, New, as Tommy Turner; Jane Rae Fuller, LaVer-kin. LaVer-kin. as Elh'n Turner; Hal Hickman, Hick-man, Beaver, as Michael Barnes; Ruthell Lamoreaux, Cedar City, as Patricia Stanley; Harry Terry, Cedar City, as Dean Damon; Alan Jones. Ced ir City as FA Keller, and Max Whitney, Cedar City, as! Joe Ferguson. Other players include: Stan hie. Salina; Mona Rae Hall, Hurricane; Carol Williams, Cedar Ce-dar City; Dulenc May, Delta; Charles Topham, Parowan, and Gerry Adair, Panaea. Dale Workman, Delta, Is stage manager. The three-net comedy recent-ly recent-ly met with smash success in New York City. The New York Times said of it " . . . it dismisses you from the theatre in a spirit of dazed hilarity." |
