Show Local Livestock Show Officials Meet With Exhibitors As a means of creating closer cooperation between the show management and 4-H Clubs and Future Farmers of America chapters, the executive committee commit-tee of the Southern Utah Livestock Live-stock Show Association met jointly with youth leaders from several counties of southern Utah Tuesday night. The group discussed various phases of the show management as a means of making the show fit even more Ideally into the 4-H and FFA programs, since the great success of the show has centered on the activities of the boys and girls in these programs. It was unanimously agreed that in order to keep the show on the highest level possible that no animals that could not be regularly reg-ularly classified as "good" or better bet-ter would not be entered in the 1955 show. The 4-H and FFA leaders and county agricultural agents present pres-ent at the meeting agreed to instruct in-struct all prospective exhibitors that their animals must reach one of the three top levels to be eligible for entrance. In the meantime members of the various show committees are busy with preparations for the annual event to be staged in September. |
