Show TOP TALENT PROGRAMMED Square Dancers Tell Special Event An outstanding evening of square dancing, to the accompaniment accompa-niment of the nationally famous Schroeders Playboys of Mesa, Ariz., national recording artists and also some of the nation's top callers, will be afforded residents resi-dents of this' area Monday evening, eve-ning, July 25 as a special feature fea-ture of the July 24 celebration The mid summer Square Dance festival, sponsored by the Hey Cedars Club, will be held on that date at the Cedar City Recreational Recreation-al park, just west of the municipal munici-pal swimming pool at 8:30 p. m. Callers from Cedar City, Thoe-nix, Thoe-nix, Ariz., Fillmore, St. George, Price and Kanab in addition to nationally famous Bob Johnson and John Schroeder will be on hand to direct the scheduled 21 dance numbers. Square dancers from the area have been invited to attend and in addition those interested in watching and listening are encouraged en-couraged to come out and "have a little fun." Some of the numbers that will be presented by the Schroeders Playboys will be the "Arkie Traveler Trav-eler Hash," "The Sheik of Araby," "Poor Little Robin," "This Ole House," "Chinatown," and many, many others. Officers of the Hey Cedars group sponsors, who have been ( busy working out the many details de-tails of the special event include Mr. and Mrs'. Vurge Smith, Presidents; Presi-dents; Mr. and Mrs. Shep Syrett, vice presidents, and Mr. and Mrs. Zealand Murdock. treasurers. Everyone is invited. |
