Show Employers' Records For Social Security Basically the Same Despite the fact that new tax rate and a new tax reporting form are effective during the first quarter of 1950, the employer's records for Social Security purposes pur-poses remain basically the same. As in the past, the employer is required to record correct full name, Social Security number, and address of. each-employee H;s records must also contain the p.ross amount of wages each payday pay-day and the amounts of differ end deductions. Employers are cautioned that Social Security benefits are payable pay-able on the basis of employee wage records maintained by the government as reported by the employers. It is essential that employers copy names and numbers num-bers from individual Social Security Se-curity cards to prevent errors in returns and future loss of benefits. |
