Show Cedar Redmen Win One, Lose One In Last Week of Season The Cedar Hih School basketball team linlshed Its season this week with a victory and a loss, the Red-men Red-men walloping the Valley high team Friday night by a score of 42 to 26, but losing their eye for the hoop Wednesday to go down to defeat before Parowan, 29 to 22. The Redmen played one of their best games of the year against Valley, Val-ley, and although the game was close throughout the first half, Cedar Ce-dar pulled away to a comparatively easy victory in the second half. Valley Val-ley was in the lead 8 to 5 at the end of the first quarter, with the Redmen holding an 18-15 lead at half-time advantage. From then on It was all Cedar, although the vls-itiors vls-itiors played good ball at all times. Wednesday the Redmen played a good floor game against Parowan, but Just could not find the hoop, shot after shot rolling around the ring only to drop out Instead of in, while the visitors connected with a number of sensational shots, particularly par-ticularly by Lemmon, who connected connect-ed from the center of the floor on three different tries. Dixie clinched the district title during the week by walloping Enterprise En-terprise 44 to 20 and Hurrirtno by a margin of 38 to 23, and Kanab earned second place and a shot at the Millard district runners-up by taking the measure of Hurricane 39 to 29.
