It Is the crying need of the community and the cultivation of the reading habit will have a great Influence for good on the ' rising generation. It will also afford a great pleasure for those who enjoy good reading but have heretofore lacked the opportunity. oppor-tunity. - Many donations of books have been received, but many more are needed and all publlc-spiritd citizens are asked to help in increasing the num. her of books. Most everyone can afford af-ford to give a few books and they should do so without delay. Bingham is a good town and should have all the benefits of its' sister towns. Some four years ago Garfield started out with no books and today it has more than 3,400 books and a circulation cir-culation of more than 1.200 per month. Donations may be left in the city hall or at the school, or given to the children to take to school. |
