Show Head-on Crash Kills Woman One person was killed and five-others five-others Injured early Wednesday morning one and one half miles south of Paragonah on.U. S. Highway 91 in an automobile collision involving a Utah and California car. KILLED: Mrs. Anton Vescovl, 53, 4513',i Marmion Way, Los Angeles, Call-fornla. Call-fornla. INJURED: Anton Vescovi, 54, husband of the victim, who suffered a fractured frac-tured arm and multiple bruises. The full extent of his injuries i i :ui known yet. Mrs. Alta R. Smith, hi, 110 East Center street, Provo, Utah, who Is listed in a very critical condition. She suffered a skull fracture, a fractured leg and a dislocated hip. Charles Smith. 22. son of Mrs. Smith, suffered a iractured l(g, (lid is listed us being in a good condition. Paul Smith, 1G, son of Mrs. Smith, who may have a possible spine Injury. Extent of injuries Is not know yet. Doris Nelson, 17, GC4 West Holt, P(mona. Calif., who suffered a fractured, leg,, a fractured nose and lacerations about thc face. Her condition is listed as good. Mrs. Vescovl was dead by the time she was moved from tho car. Both she and her husband were pinned in the front seat of the lnte model California car, which was headed south. According to J. The accident ac-cident occurred about 8 a.m. Both cars were totally demolished. Dr. L. V. Broadbent, Cedar City arrived ar-rived at the scene of the accident !- give emergency treatment, and the injured were taken to the Iron County hospital.
