Show Parks-Urie Wedding Solemnized June 7 The home of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Jones was the scene of a wedding ceremony Saturday evening, June 7j uniting in marriage Miss Hazel' Parks, daughter of Mrs. Clara Parks of Rlchfirld, arid Roy Parry Urie, son of Mrs. Roy Urie of Cedar City, libliop William Snow performed the rert-nmiiy. Musical numbers were furnished by Mrs. Mary Jane Seaman and Mrs. Janice Ja-nice Prothero. Mrs. Prothero, Miss Lois Urie and Miss Joan Jones, did the serving. The bride is a graduate of the Brcfich Agricultural college and the Utah State "Agricultural college, and for the past two years has been a member of the Branch College domestic do-mestic science department faculty. Mr. Urie, also a graduate of the I B A C and a former student at the U S A C is a veteran of World War II, having served for nearly four years with the United States Navy, seeing overseas duty in the South Pacific theatre of operations. The young couple will make their home in Cedur City, where Mrs. Urie will continue with her teuchnlg ut the B A C and Mr. Urie will continue in the engineering department depart-ment of the district road office. |
