Show 'June M.Randall, Elda Peterson Married i - 1 United in marriage Friday even-ing. even-ing. July 21 at St. George, were Miss Elda Piterson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Nell Peterson of Cedar City, and June Moe Randall, Ran-dall, Bugl r 1 c and gunner on a carrier in the U. S. Navy, a son ol Mr. and Mrs. Brig Randu'.l of St. George. The s uing for the marriage was jthe summer house at the home of ' Mr. and Mrs. Roy Williams. The 'couple stood in front of the huge 'out-door fireplace while Bishop 1 James Andrus of the St. George L. D. S. west ward, performed the ceremony. The wide mantle back of the couple held vas s of Shasta i daisies and gladiolus. ' For the ceremony the bride wore I a floor length dress of white tulle ' and Jersey with skirt trim In metal beads. Her corsage was of pink 1 ruffled gladiola. Attending her as ' bridesmand and maid of honor w. re her sister. Miss Beverley Peterson Pet-erson of Cedar City in Alice blue, and Miss Audrey Morris of St. George in pale pink, evening dresses. Bub Fawcett of Pine Valley was the groom's best man. Relatives and friends were seated In a semicircle semi-circle on the lawn. Preceding the ceremony the guests were entertalnd with u group of love lonss by the ladies' I trio including Mrs. Win. E. Baker, Mrs. Murray G. Web!) and Mrs. Gerald Blake. Mrs. Mae A. Pace, 1 accompanist. 1 Following the c remony Mrs. I George Pace introduced other pro- ' gram numbers with original verse. 1 These included vocal solos by Mis. Murk G. Jackson, a duet by Mr. I and Mrs. Pratt Miles, reading by ' J. T. Woodbury, Jr., solo by Mrs. 1 Piatt Miles, reading and solo by Mrs. Preston Hafen. Mrs. George Pace accompanied the numbers. Refreshments were served to six- I ty guests. Mr. and Mrs. Randall visited in Enterprise, Pine Valley und City before Mr. Randall's return to his ship at the end of the month. In attendance at the w.ddins from Cedar City besides the bride's parents, were her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles B. Maxwell. Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Slack, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Maxwell. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Matheson, Miss Audrey Aud-rey Jens?n, Miss Beulah Mosdell and Miss Pauline Hopkins. |
