A on the home front, has teen promoted pro-moted from Second Lt. to First Lt. and assumed new duties as Executive Ex-ecutive of a battery in the organization organiz-ation to which he had been assigned assign-ed since April, 1944. Since arriving at an overseas station First Lt. Bracken has participated par-ticipated In an extensive course of training designed to remould his organization, only recently returned return-ed from a long perold of service on Guadalcanal.
