During the same period your electric rates have DECKKASK1) as sharply. Ten (years ago we received an average of 5.0G cents per kilowatt hour for. all electricity sold in Cedar City. In 1913, the average sale price had dropped to 2.8(1 cents per kilowatt kilo-watt hour, a reduction of 43 per cent. The trend is still downwanl due to our sliding slid-ing scale type of rate schedules- During thin period our costs have all increased. Labor, fuel, materials, and taxes all cost us much more. Your usage of electricity has likewise increased, thus enabling us to reduce prices again. Effective with the meter reading dated July 1, 1911, residential lighting rates are again being reduced. Thin is a substantial rate reduction. Fur example you will now receive 16 kilowatt hours for $1.00 instead of 11 kilowatt hours 25 kilowatt hours will cost $1.45 rather than $1.81 under the old schedule. Customers now receiving service under Residential Lighting Schedule ." A will be billed under the new Residential Schedule 8. effective with the next bill you receive. Customers receiving service under our Residential Combination Schedule 1 A will not be changed to the new Schedule 8 without request. Schedule 8 is lower than Schedule Sche-dule 1 A for service up to 37 kilowatt hours per month and higher for service of more than that amount.
