He was cited for extraordinary achievement while participating In aerial flights in the Southwest Pacific Pac-ific Area from Se;.t.nbcr 13, to December 30, 1043. Your son took part In sustained operational flight missions during which hostile contact was probable und expected Thcs. flights aided coii.sl lerably in the recent success In this theatre. Almost ev-iy hour of e.ery day your son. and the sons of other American mothers, are doing Just such things as that here in the Southwest Pacific. 1 heirs is a 'very r al and rv tangible contribution to victory and to peace.
