Show District B. P. W. Clubs Will Hold Meet In Cedar City Members of the Cedar City Business Busi-ness and Professional Women's Club will be hostesses to the B. P. W. clubs of Milford, Beaver and St. George Sunday, March 9th. when the annual convention of the Dixie District will be held In Cedar City, It was announced today by Miss Gwendolyn Hansen, president of the local club. The convention, which will be held In the ballroom of the Escalante hotel, will be under the direction of Miss Alice Pendleton, District Director, and will consist of a business busi-ness meeting and a dinner. The husinixiij mcptltiff mill ennupno at 3:30 p. m. and the dinner will start promptly at 7:30 p. m. Several of the oflccrs of the Utah State Federation Fed-eration of Business and Professional Profession-al Women are expected to be present, pre-sent, among them Mrs. Anne R. Price, president, Mrs. Maude Neeley Leaver, chairman of the legislative committee, Miss Sue Mae Orua, chairman of the membership committee, com-mittee, and Miss Mattle Pendleton, corresponding secretary. A delightful musical program will feature the dinner in the evening, which will be a semi-formal affair and which Is to be given in an effort ef-fort to stimulate a closer relationship relation-ship between the clubs of the district, dis-trict, Miss Hansen said. All members mem-bers of the local club are urged to attend the convention. t |
