Show Death Clajms Mrs. S. D. Craig Tuesday Evening: Mrs. Sarah Frances McFerran Craig, wife of S. D. Craig, died at the family residence Tuesday evening eve-ning from ailments incident to old age, after having been confined to her bed for the past three weeks. Mrs. Craig was an active worker In local Presbyterian Church circles, having been a president of the Ladies' Aid Society, and holding hold-ing various committee chairmanships chairman-ships during her residence in Cedar City. She was born July 1, 1868 in Godfrey, God-frey, Kansas, a daughter of William Wil-liam M. and Ellen Brown McFerran. McFer-ran. On November 8, 1892, she married Mr. Craig at Rich Hill, Missouri. The couple came to Cedar Ce-dar City for the first time In 1917 where they lived for a few months, later returning in 1918 and remain-In remain-In here until 1921 when they returned re-turned to Kansas. In 1923 they returned to Cedar City and have made their home here since that time. Besides her husband, she is survived sur-vived by one son by a former marriage, mar-riage, Burt C. Neptune and one grandson, both of Cedar City, and two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Neptune of Pittsburg, Kansas, and Mrs. Hat-tie Hat-tie Rose of Sulphur, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held Friday Fri-day at 2 p. m. in the local Presbyterian Presby-terian Church and burial will be made in the Cedar City cemetery. |
