Show "Zion Narrows Club" Organized In Cedar City The formution of a new and exclusive ex-clusive club was completed her', this week with the organization oi the "Zlon narrows CiUb," composed of all persons who have at one time or another hiked through the Zion narrows. William Flanigan, veteran Cedar City explorer and one or the first white men to make Uie arduous trip from the headwaters on Cedar Ce-dar mountain Into Zion canyon, was given the honorary title of "Chier Scout" of the newly formed group. Approximately 20 men eligible for membership attended the organization organiza-tion meeting at Lunt's hotel, and many others have signified intention inten-tion of affilliating with the group, Air. Flanigan said. Samuel F. Leigh, Iron county commissioner com-missioner and a member of the first party to traverse the North Fork into the Virgin, was named president presi-dent of the club, with Mr. Flanigan, Flani-gan, vice president, and D. C. Dix, secretary. Wendell Paulson was ap- , painted chairman or the publicity committee with John H. Pendleton or Parowan and I. N. Wright ol Cedar City as members.
