Show Dates Announced For Annual Hemet Turkey Show Directors of the Foriy-sixth district dis-trict Agricultural Asoclation today announced that the sixth anual H :-m,et :-m,et California, Utility Turkey Show and Congress wLl be held November Novem-ber 6, 7, 8, 9. Turkey growers from the western states will exhibit more than 2,000 of their finest birds In competition for nearly $10,000 in cash prizes, according to Miles T. Nickles, manager of the stiow. Of interest to breeders and consumers con-sumers alike is the statement that the turkey, institute which has been a feature of the exposition the last two years will again be held, and that interesting and informative inform-ative programs with nationally known speakers will be arranged for these educational meetings. The comercial prepared division of the show will be an enlarged feature this year. It will demon strate the quantity of edible meat that can be carved from the various vari-ous types of turkeys, .with actual demonstrations of how to prepare turkeys in more than 20 different ways. Housewives, and ' cafe and hotel operators will receive valuable valu-able advice from expert chefs who will conduct the demonstrations. Live bird entries have already been received from points as far distant as the New England states. Mr. Nickels said. Turkey picking contests to select the world's champion men and women pickers will again be a big event of the four-day program.
