S. S. for the month of December, and a summary sum-mary of the sales for 111 IS, of which every person in Utah may well be proud. The average per capita sales for the entire country for December was 20 cents, and for Utah $1.53, standing stand-ing fourth in sales per capita. The average sales for the year was $1).4 and Utah has $11.85 to her credit, standing seventeenth in the list of states. Those who remember the remarkable remark-able campaign of advertising W. S. S. conducted in the newspapers of Utah during the month of December, will see wherein advertising pays, espec-. tally in the country newspapers. Without this campaign conducted in a vigorous manner, Utah would not have stood where she does today in sales of W. S. S. for the year 1918. The Record is very proud of this record, as it had a part in the advertising, adver-tising, of W. S. S. during the past year anil never doubted that the results re-sults would be highly satisfactory. Never has the newspaper advertising specially in country papers, been vindicated as in the W. S. S. advertising adver-tising efforts. |
