Show FAMOUS SOPRANO COMING TO CEDAR There is a posibility of Marioric Dodge-Warner, one of the greatest sopranos now in Utah, being heard here in Cedar City. Fred C. Graham, Gra-ham, director of the summer school of music, is now negotiating with Mrs. Warner for an appearance during the last week of the school. Mr,. Warner is at present in Salt Kake. She it was who created such a sensation in the soprano role at the community production of the "Mcsiah" at the Salt Kake taber nacle by tle Salt Kake Oratorio , Society at wdiich time the Salt Kake Tribune paid the following tribute to Mrs. Warner's singing: "Ma'r-jorie "Ma'r-jorie Dodge Warner, soprano of Chicago and an oratorio and concert con-cert singer of fame in the eastern cities was an artistic delight from the first solo to the last. She possesses pos-sesses a voice of remarkable sweetness sweet-ness and purity. Is evidently a thorough student of her work and has the self possession and personal chatm that attracts even before she begins to sing. In her first aira "Rejoice, Greatly," she proved her great ability and from then on was received w ith hearty applause each time she arose to her feet." |
