Tho attendanco was also onorous at tho track and field meet held on tho B. A. C. campus. Tho work, both in tho educational and athletic contests was far nbovo the average, and showed much painstaking pains-taking caro nnd labor in preparation. Tho double mixed quartet, which was the event moBt keenly contested in the list of educational contests, because be-cause of tho fact that it carried with it three places in the district meet, was won by tho Cedar West Ward, tho singers having been coached by Mrs. Ada Wood Webster. """"Tho" decision for tho athletic nnd flold meet was awarded to Parowan, which carried with it the final ownership owner-ship of the loving cup, this being the third timo that Parowan has won in this phase of the M. I. A, contests, The decision was close, however, and for a timo it hung in the balance, pending the decision of the number of points carried by the relay race, and whether they all went to the winners of first place or were divided among first, second and third, 5, 8' and 1, as in other track and field events. It was finally decided that the precedent had been cstblished of allowing 8 points to tho team winning first place and none for second and third. A?
