Show B LAST WEEK OF CONTEST. ONLY one more week remains before the close of our big voting contest, nnd the j awarding of the automobile and other prizes. It M is the home stretch of the race, and those M who desire to help any of the candidates in the B race should do so now. As explained in the rules H of the contest, which have been kept before our M readers prominently during the contest, all votes j or remittances entitling to votes must either be H in the ballot box or in a post office and postmarked H not later than the 10th of December. If you have H not already cast your votes for one of the con- H testants, do not delay too long and lose the op- H portunity. H And do not lose your chance of winning H a little easy money by submitting a guess as to H " which candidate will win the car and the amount H of his or her vote. Only subscribers who have a m , figure "7" or higher at the right of their name H on the margin of your papers or wrappers, or H who makes a payment sufficient to extend their M subscriptions into 1917, will be eligible for the 1 guessing contest. This is the last time the votes H will be counted until after the contest closes, and H guesses will have to be based on or estimated M from the vote published in this issue, or informa- H tion obtained from the candidates or their friends. M i No further information will be obtainable from H " The Record office by anyone, relative to the vote M or movements of any of the candidates. It would H be well to submit your guesses as promptly as H possible after the appearance of this issue of The M v Record. If your subscription is paid into 1916, H V .only, it would be well to pay for another year now, fl assisting your favorite candidate in tho contest, H and at the same time securing a chance for your- M self on the prizes offered for the best guesses. fl " The contest is going to finish, as it has been M conducted thus far, with absolute fairness to all H contestants and all parties concerned. No candi- H date will be permitted to obtain through the pa- M per or its employes any unfair information, or H advantage. It is up to each candidate in the con- B test to secure all the support possible for their H ' candidacy, and use their own best judgment in fl . the matter. We have no advise for anyone, other fl thaa to get all the business possible, for it is the H . votes and business turned in that will win the m " The Record feels only one regret, and that is M that it has only one automobile to give away. We M would greatly enjoy presenting each of the con- M testants, who have worked energetically and cori- M sistently with a car. But of course, only H one person can win the car, and it is up to the can- M didates and our subscribers and patrons generally M to determine who the fortunate person shall be. |
