V Fee February 6th, by her friends. Mrs. Fee was buisly intrajred in performing her usual M ednesdayV work, wholly unaware of the fact that Ashe was to be entertained by her many 9 friends on her birthday. A rap Wl. jriven at the door and upon answer ins; it, the lady was surprised beyond measure at heinfr confronted by the happy crowd. Many pretty Rifts were bestowed upon the honored lady, who proved herself to be a model and graceful hostess, introducinR Ruests who were not acquainted and makiii everybody feel at homt . Soon were busily enaRed with trames am! music. Refreshments were served ut 3 o'clock, and when the Ruests dr- Sarted it was with tho fcelinp they ad passed a delightful afternoon. e e e Brilliant Social Events Scheduled. Beginning today, Feb. 12, this week is to be marked by one charming social so-cial event after another, the gay procession pro-cession headed today by luncheons and followed by dinners this eveninR. February 17th the Ford Improvement Club will hold an important meetinR, which promises to be larRely attended, attend-ed, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fee. February 13th is the date announced for the house-warming at Mr. H. E. Rimmel's. February 17th is the date set for the election of officers of the Ladies' Aid Society; Feb. 14th, the children are planning a Valentine party. Club meetings, , dances, sociability socia-bility of one kind or another, sport events, all promise to keep things moving for this month and next. An unwelcome telegram came for Mr. John 0. Mushrush, who was on his way to Los Angeles, stating thai his daughter, Mrs. Myers, had been seriously burned. Mr. and Mrs. C. Couch entertained Mr. and Mrs. J. Asbury and family, Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Fee and family and Mr. 0. M. Fee, at dinner Sunday, February 11th. Ladies Aid Society Meets Feb. 17. The meeting of the Ladies' Aid Society So-ciety will be held at the home of Mrs. W. W. Fee February 17, at 2:30 p. m. There will be an election of officers. All members are requested to be present. pres-ent. Mr. H. E. Rimmel, while movinR his house from the northeast corner of section 33 to the southeast corner of the same section, had Mr. W. M. Wright driving a team for him. He tripped and fell and the house was drawn partially over him, crushing his foot very badly and bruising him up considerably. A house warming is planned for Mr. Rimmel as soon as he gets settled again. mm Mrs. Mary Millette, sister of Mrs. Lee Wright of Lund, and cousin of Mr. George Collord and his sister Martha, of this place, returned to her home in Long Beach, California, on Thursday, Feb. 8th. m Mr. W. Dastalek is very busy thes,e daya building his house. m a Sunday School at the Club House every Sunday at 3:30 p. m. Mr. Harry Har-ry E. Rimmel, superintendent. All welcome. |
