At night a dance was given which H v - was well attended. The groom H '- J' is a son of Joseph S. Fife of Ce- J- dar City and is well known in B ' this section, having taught school Lhere two years ago. The bride --. is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. V oi Ul' ' misseiaonacmWSlTOn H The 4th of July passed very H pleasantly. Everybody was well K pleased with the band music. K's The meeting was a complete suc- P M cess. Various kinds of sports m '- were indulged in. In the after- v noon Laren Williams "proved to Hj , ; r be the fastest f ootracer and Jas. HP -fTW-i ' Williams the best jumper. On H. , the 5th the Reeves gray mare H' proved to be the fastest at 700 R - yards. K Sunday the Silver band, ac- H . companied by a few others, went B ( ' to New Harmony and gave them HH a nice time, which was a surprise HBf -to them as thev knew nothing HKf about it until they heard the mu- H sic out by the school house. The H report is that they were well H H treated and invited to come again H" by the New Harmony people, H who seemed to enjoy the visit. |
