Show TELEPHONE COMPANY TO ERECT NEW HOME FOR PAROWAN OFFICE At a meeting of the board of directors direc-tors of the Iron County Telephone Co. held Wednesday afternoon, it was de cided to proceed at once with the erection erec-tion of a building on the property recently re-cently purchased from Mrs. M. A. Orton on west side Main St., Parowan. A substantial one story building with good cement basement nnd founda tion, was decided upon, the main part of the building for the present to be occupied by the Parowan Drug Company. Com-pany. The building will be planned with the ultimate expectation of continuing con-tinuing it on up one or two more stories. stor-ies. All the details have not yet been worked out, but it is anticipated that the cost will be between six and seven thousand dollars. The money for tre erection of the building will probably Ih raised either by the sale of stock or bonds of the company. Manager Woodbury. Thomas J. Jones and John H. Gurr of the directorate direc-torate were named as a building committee com-mittee to have charge of the plans and erection of the structure. A 12 per cent dividend was declared on the outstanding stock of the Company Com-pany at the meeting. |
