Hurricane, 2 p. m. Sunday April 20th. There was a large and enthus-r enthus-r : iastic gathering, the ne;vtaber- H !' nacle being filled and overfiow- H : ; ing. A special program had H ".' been prepared, in which all the H s schools participated. The pro- H ' i ' gram, which was well rendered, H consisted of speeches, hymns, H v j ; anthems, vocal solos, quartettes, H I ' " ' sentiments, recitations, original H poems, etc. Elder Spillsbury H: was presented with a rocking H j chair, lap robe, and beautiful H memorial containing his photo, H v a brief , sketch of his life, and H ", sentiments from all the schools H with, their signatures attached. H Brother Spillsbury has labored H in the Sunday school course for H ,47 years; has been a member of H $k e church over 70 years. He SP . attributes his good health and H ' . t ' activity to the fact that for more H. . .' f , than a generation he has been a H J strict observer of the "word of H j Wisdom."
